As the Nursing Home Manager, you’ll take the lead in ensuring the smooth running of the home—overseeing everything from clinical excellence to team development and financial sustainability. You’ll play a key role in maintaining outstanding standards of person-centred care, meeting CQC regulations, and fostering a culture built on respect, empathy, and accountability.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Current NMC registration as an RGN (Adult) or RMN.
  • Proven experience as a Nursing Home Manager or similar senior care leadership role.
  • In-depth understanding of CQC compliance, safeguarding, and best practices in care delivery.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
  • Experience managing budgets and driving financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all daily operations of the nursing home, ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for residents.
  • Oversee all aspects of clinical care, ensuring full compliance with CQC standards and internal policies.
  • Inspire, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
  • Manage budgets, occupancy, and financial performance to ensure long-term sustainability.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals to promote transparent communication and trust.
  • Continuously assess and improve the quality of care through regular audits and staff development.
