Registered Home Manager – Residential Care Home for Older Adults
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Salary: Up to £56,000

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a confident and compassionate leader with:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager in a residential or nursing home.
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC requirements, clinical governance, safeguarding, and risk management.
  • Strong leadership skills and a supportive, person-centred management style.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven success in managing care teams, finances, and quality assurance.

What You’ll Do

As Registered Home Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall leadership, quality of care, regulatory compliance, and operational success of the home. You will:

  • Lead and motivate a committed care team to deliver safe, person-centred, and dignified care.
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding regulations, and all legal requirements.
  • Oversee daily operations including staffing, budgeting, resident care, and service delivery.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals.
  • Manage resources and budgets effectively to ensure financial sustainability.
  • Support staff development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Handle complaints or concerns with empathy, professionalism, and resolution-focused communication.
