Night Shift Registered Nurse – RGN, RMN or RNLD | £19 per hour | 36 hours per week

 

Our client is a well-established nursing home set within a stunning Victorian house, known for its warm, homely atmosphere and beautiful summer garden. With a Good CQC rating and a strong reputation for person-centred care, this service supports adults with learning disabilities in living full and dignified lives.

 

They are now looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) to join their friendly night team. This is a permanent role offering 36 hours per week on night shifts, with excellent benefits and a supportive working environment.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who thrives on making a difference at night – someone who values calm, nurturing care and meaningful connections. Working alongside a small and skilled care team, the night nurse ensures residents are safe, comfortable and well-supported through the night.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • NMC registered nurse – RGN, RMN or RNLD (active PIN required)
  • Experience or a genuine interest in working with adults with learning disabilities
  • Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
  • A calm, caring and patient approach – especially overnight
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit, person-centred team

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivering high-quality nursing care in line with individual care plans
  • Supporting adults with learning disabilities in a respectful and empowering way
  • Administering medication and managing clinical documentation
  • Leading and mentoring care staff during night shifts
  • Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and responding to health needs promptly
  • Working collaboratively with families and external professionals
