Registered Nurse – Maternity Cover  

Salary: £38,900

Night Shifts, 36.75 hours per week

 

Our client is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join a modern, purpose-built nursing home. Rated Good by the CQC, this welcoming home provides exceptional support for older adults in a safe, comfortable, and homely environment.

 

This is a 12-month maternity cover role, working 36.75 hours per week on night shifts, offering a competitive salary of £38,900 per year. It’s an excellent opportunity for a nurse with strong clinical skills and previous nursing home experience who is looking for a rewarding role in a supportive setting.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN) and valid UK NMC Pin.
  • Previous experience in a nursing home environment.
  • Strong clinical and leadership skills.
  • Confident working independently on night shifts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A genuine commitment to resident wellbeing and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care to residents during night shifts.
  • Use strong clinical knowledge to assess, plan, and implement care plans.
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Lead and support care staff, ensuring best practice is followed at all times.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to residents’ health needs.
  • Work in partnership with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Promote dignity, choice, and independence for every resident.
