Nursing Home Manager – Nurse Qualified

Up to £65,000 | Full-time | Residential, Nursing & Dementia Care

 

Our client is looking for an experienced and dedicated Nursing Home Manager to lead their stunning care home that supports older adults with residential, nursing, and dementia needs. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a well-resourced and welcoming service with a strong team and excellent community links.

 

The successful candidate will be a nurse-qualified leader with a proven track record of achieving Good or Outstanding CQC ratings. If you’re passionate about high-quality care, people-focused leadership, and regulatory excellence, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD) with valid NMC pin
  • Prior experience as a Registered Home Manager in a nursing home setting
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve Good or Outstanding CQC ratings
  • Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements
  • Compassionate leadership style and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage people, performance, and clinical quality effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong, values-led leadership to the care and clinical teams
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and maintain high-quality care standards
  • Oversee staff recruitment, development, and performance management
  • Manage budgets, occupancy, and resources effectively
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external professionals
  • Foster a warm, inclusive, and homely environment for residents
  • Drive continuous improvement across care delivery, governance, and service outcomes
